Week 11 - Pulling out of the doldrums

Another week goes by and another honest blog even though it is a little late.
Last week I told you how I was struggling somewhat and hoped to have a better week and be writing this shouting from the rooftops. But I'm not to be honest and I'm not happy about it.
My opinion is that I'm keeping track on my eating and quantities religiously logging it all on MyFitnessPal app recording my habits on a daily tracker developed by Chris. What can possibly go wrong?
It isn't a tragedy but I'm into my second week of not seeing any real improvement like the first months although I have maintained a status quo I'm not ready for that yet and have more improvement to go yet.
So where do I go? What do I do?
Well first port of call is Chris obviously. As soon as he sees it slowing or not working he's straight on it. Questioning me then looking in detail at what I've been doing to try work with me for a solution. He's changed and refined some things giving me advice on getting back on track.
Then I sat and looked at my recent eating habits and choices and I see what Chris sees and a little of where I have slipped and made some poor decisions. I suppose we get carried away with the success and think we know it all already but then realise we need to look in more detail at our eating habits.
So into another week and already I see I have yet again changed my diet and food choices still as always positive and happy to dive in with the changes.
Still tough in terms of working and college work which doesn't help and stress is something that I now know impacts on sleep and so much more including potential food pitfall and I am seriously considering trying some simple meditation. If and when I do I will share my experience on here too.
So with Christmas just around the corner and the challenges that will bring I am keen to get back on track and just today have set myself a challenge that by February 2018 I will be a stone lighter. I like goals for myself it is one of the best motivators for me. Probably doesn't work for everyone but we all need to find something to focus on in my mind.
Well will I be shouting from the rooftops next week? I hope so although with a midweek awards dinner and a planned Saturday night out with other members of Impact Nutritional Coaching I do have some hurdles. But my gym kit is going with me to the hotel this week and a determination to restrict alcohol I am hoping for great things lol
