Week Three - Going it alone

Well two weeks in and looking to report in to Chris with my stats etc. I cannot say I wasn't a little disappointed with the results from last week. I was hoping to have lost more weight and improved my body shape. However I have continued to lose over the last week but only 0.7 kg but that's still 2.5 kg in two weeks.

My clothes do feel slightly different and I had a momentous occasion where my belt moved to another notch smaller.

I am certainly not dis-heartened and it just makes me keener to succeed going forward. I know there will be times when I achieve nothing in the week.

After speaking with Chris he is now happy for me to 'go it alone' a little and start planning my own meals obviously within parameters he has set out for me. Due to work commitments this hasn't been easy this week so I have mainly stuck to the original plan.

My aim is to slowly move off the plan maybe retaining the breakfast regimes and evening meals and building from there. The original plan does have some good variation so I will be looking to 'tweak' it initially.

Couple of things I have noticed this week are the amount of comments I get about already looking different. Surely they can't all be just saying it make me feel good haha. .So hopefully I'm going in the right direction.

The other thing is despite the meal portion sizes and a constant feeling full I am now noticing some hunger pangs! Even before the new diet I rarely felt empty or hungry.

Saturday night I went out socially eating. I have a choice on my plan relating to the amount I allow myself in terms of food and alcohol. Food was within limits but I did exceed my drinking allowance'But i had a great evening and am certainly not going to beat myself up over it.. I believe you must live and not become a complete slave to a new eating regime.

You just need to make sure you;re back on it the following day and don;t let it happen every week.

To try keep my blog fresh I have moved away from the repetitive daily feelings and going forward I will be sharing my feelings regarding sleep patterns, caffeine, slave to the scales, keeping momentum etc.

Just as an added incentive I looked back at a picture taken last Christmas Day and compared it to myself today. I was keen to do this after losing a total of two stone during the course of this year. I am as always happy to share things like this.

I don't believe I will have lost a great deal this week but I feel good and it never gets me down. Everbody will have times where it levels out for a while. My reactoon to it is just keep doing ehat your'e doing it will come good.

Looking forward to next week.
